One day while I out talking a walk
I met two ladies and we stopped to have a talk.
They said they were looking for a place to rent,
But said they had both been sick,
And now all their money was spent.

I told them I would help them find a place to live
For I couldn't turn my back on destitute people.
They replied they didn't need anything fancy,
Just a small place that felt like a real home.

I knew an older couple who lived all alone
In a big farmhouse on the hill that needed some help.
So I called the couple on the phone and told them
I had met two ladies who needed a home.

I said, "They can help you and you won't be so alone,
And they could live there and they would have a home."
The couple said, "That sounds great, bring them right on."
So I went out to find these two ladies who needed a home
And hoped I wasn't too late and they wasn't gone.

I found the ladies and they were so surprised
They said, "It will be nice not to have to live on the street
Now we have a home and can help someone too."
The older couple is so grateful for someone to live there
For they needed someone to share their home.

The ladies cooks some very good meals
And go around singing, 'Our Dreams are Filled.'
They are so grateful they are not out in the rain
Now they will never be without a home
For they put their trust in the Lord,
And he answered their prayers."

At night the four of them gather around to pray
And Praise the Lord for what happened that day.
