Mom's
Apron
My
mom's apron is hanging on the kitchen wall
I will never remove the apron from that place
It makes me image I can still see her smiling face
Mom
was good to all the family,
Sometimes we would sing the song Jubilee.
She worn it as she cooked three meals a day,
Then we would hear her call, "Come to the table and
eat."
After
dinner she said for us to get ready for bed,
But first we had to wash our feet
Then she would come in and pray with us,
And tell us we brought her a lot of happiness.
I miss
her now that she is gone, but
I will always remember her when I look at
Her apron hanging on the wall.
