Good Morning, Dear Lord,
Thank you for a good night's rest,
I feel so rested and so blest.
As I start a new day,
I don't want to forget to pray.

Lord; help me to help someone,
Even if I have to work for those who can't.
Lord, help me to be good to the black or the white,
For they are precious in Your sight.

Lord; I thank You, because I am healthy,
Because I have You, I do not need to be wealthy.
As we are all growing to be older,
We do not need silver or gold,
As I go out to plant my daises,
I will always sing your praises.
So Thank You, Dear Lord

Lord, I thank You
Lord, I thank you for the breath you give me to breathe,
And for the strength you give me to get down on my knees.
Thank You for making me free,
Thank you for sending your son to Calvary.

Lord, I want to also thank You for saving my soul,
And that today I am still made whole.
Lord, since you have saved my soul I have no regrets,
And for your blessings I cannot forget.

Thank you Lord, for my two eyes to look,
So I can read your precious Book.
Lord, I am planning on taking a blessed trip,
The trip I want to take is on the old gospel ship.

Lord, I want to meet you at the Eastern Gate,
I pray my love ones will not too late.
I know you must be sad when we mistrust you,
So I want to live a life that is pleasing to you.
