"Stay On the Right Track"

Well, today we can feel the wind blowing,
But tomorrow, do we know where we are going?

It doesn't matter where we've been,
But we may not want to go back there again.

We can talk about the good times we've had,
But seems like the time goes by awful fast!

We can't get anywhere if we stand in one place,
So let's get busy and try to win the race.

We should focus on our children's school,
Try to make them feel important and cool.

Sometimes children talk to Mom and Dad,
They should feel they're the best friend a child's ever had.

There are some parents that could care less,
But they need to know that a child's love is the best.

They did not ask to come into this world,
But they are a person, if a boy or a girl.

My parents were always good to us,
They tried to give us happiness.

We always had food on the table and
clothes on our back.
But most importantly, they taught
us to stay on the right track.
