"A Yellow Rose"
One day I had a beautiful yellow rose
The next day it was faded and the petals fell off
That got me to thinking about my life
And how quick it could end,
So I want to make everything right
Everywhere I have been

A rose is here and gone tomorrow
That is the way of our lives
There is love and there is sorrow
Let's try not to live in days gone by
But live for today and be good to everyone
Always start the day off with a prayer

We may live in a fancy house on the the ground
But in a twinkle of an eye it could turn around
Sometime we don't realize what we have until it is gone
We don't need fancy things— just a good home
Show the Lord that we rally do care

Sometime I sing, Oh, Lord, Come By Here
But He has been with me every year
I go around singing, Amazing Grace
Because He is already here in this place
We should try to be happy each day
And always put The Lord First.
