There is a journey that we all will have to take,

We should be sure we are ready before we wake.

When we are getting ready to go some place,

The only way we will get there is by God's Grace.

When we leave our house we may not come back,

So it really pays to stay on the right track.

If only you knew that Christ is knocking at your door,

Like he has so many times before.

You may ask, "How do you know Jesus is real?"

Because he saved me years ago, so I know he lives.

To our Lord Jesus Christ, we should surrender our all,

So we can be ready when he calls.

You know, God gave his only son to die on the Cross-

He does not want any soul to be lost.

We can look up to the sky above,

And know that Christ is Love.

When our telephone rings we answer it,

So when out Lord knocks it's time to answer this call.

That's something that we better think about,

Because the lease on our lives will soon run out.

I want to go meet Jesus, the one that has kept me,

All my life and has supplied all of my needs.
